Indy Rocks, yo!!!!!!!!!1111oneoneone
Indiana gets so few shout-outs in Hollywood and Music. We all know it. So, when I saw that this preview of "Public Enemies," (one of my most anticipated movies of the freakin' decade!) actually gives Indiana it's rightful spot in Dillinger history, I squealed like Johnny Depp had just written me a note with two check boxes.
...(btw, johnny, "YES!")
I started visiting the bean cup coffeehouse on Indy's South side after I saw some fellow twitterers mention it as a great
place for a cup of joe, networking, or just to hang out and relax. The place indeed scores well for all 3 criteria. The
coffee is fresh and not the usual brew found in the local chain stores. For such a hidden location, the place has a lot
of clientele and usually a few folks hanging around to socialize with or network. Or, it is a good place to grab a
comfortable chair and read a book. Here's info and location details:

I am in sales and often stop at various local places for lunches or just for sweet treats to take to clients. I stopped at Rene's one afternoon to pick up some treats. I was pleasantly surprised. Who knew that such heaven existed in a blue garage. The service was fabulous and the presentation is phenomenal. Rene put together a delightful arrangement of goodies and it was loved by all. If you're ever in need of deliciousness Rene's is where to find it. renesbakery.com
St. Patty's Day was awesome this year! After like three years in a row of horrible, shitty weather we finally got a March 17th that didn't suck! In fact, it was the most incredible weather we could ask for! The people were festive, the parade was good, and the canal was green! What else can you ask for?
Amidst the economic struggle, there are some people who have the drive to make a business succeed. The Buda located on Mass Ave transforms the shoebox shape of the bar into an oriental experience. I found myself sitting in a throne with lions heads on the armrests, sipping Saki and smoking a fat cigar. Don't just go there for the great drink, or the selection of fine cigars, or the unique spectrum of people that walk in the door. Go to the Buda for the experience that is completely new to downtown Indianapolis. It brings the ambiance of the world class city that Indianapolis wants to be. BuDaLounge.com
