Mass Ave Toys, the toy store on Mass ave is a child's dream. There are robots to wind,
dolls to hold, and mustaches to wear. I spent 2 hours in the store with my child on a rainy
day just having fun. The owner of the store is near by for suggestions on toys for different
age groups. The prices might be a little steep but when you buy a toy you're supporting a place
that make dreams come true and that brings out the inner child in plenty of adults.

The 16th and Meridian area is gradually improving. They tore down the burned IHOP building and started construction on a new CVS. I'm assuming this will be in place of the CVS on 17th and Illinois... cuz it would seem a little silly to have two that close. But at least that area is doing better. Just a few years ago it was a complete mess of disheveled buildings, crack dealers, and basic ugliness. Now, Herron Arts is expanding and quality businesses are going up. Now I just hope somebody does something with that huge apartment complex. Didn't somebody buy that like a year ago and have a biggo plan for renovation? I remember reading it in IBJ.
